The module is written in the context of the KVv2 API. While the commands can work on the KV1 target that is not the current intention of the logic.
In particular on the kv1 endpoint keys will end up at data/keyname when the UI implies it will just be 'keyname'
To avoid confusion we should filter out v1 endpoints. We can consider adding V1 support in the future if requested.
