Empty entity field token is not replaced if token module is not enabled

Problem/Motivation

This is really odd. It occurred in the Drupal CMS recipe to duplicate nodes and if I leave the entity field empty, it won't be replaced. But if token module gets enabled, it works as expected.

    Can't reproduce this any longer. Here is how I tested:

    • Start with a prepare entity vie event
    • Use action "Get field value" and store a field value in a token
    • Output that token in a message

    That also works without the token module enabled.
