OK, I will do the research and update that list. But it won't be for a few weeks because I am on travel.
In the meantime, drupal.org created a "new" way to track related modules. "new" because it's been maybe 4 years since that was done. It's not as good, but it is automatic so it doesn't require the maintainer to continually research to keep things up-to-date.

Thx - i wasn't expecting you to do the research - which is why i put D7 only by them - ie i clicked through to each one and none of them showed any versions other than 7.x

I think to update it properly I should do research and find out what D8+ modules are available as well, and evaluate the status of the D7 modules because I also don't want to recommend them if they aren't working. But thank you for listing the D7-only ones. There is a lot of work to be done to update all the Rules documentation, because so much was written for D7 but there aren't a lot of people helping out with D8+

understood - for now i was only thinking of the project page itself.
I haven't used Rules a lot myself, so don't think i can be much help with docs, but we did have it integrated with civicrm entity so that eg we could create a CiviCRM Activity based on a drupal trigger. Will probably look in to doing the same for the 4.x series at some point.
