When you download that file you get a tar.gz and that can be imported. Not just tar, it's tar.gz

Oh, I see. I actually did try to import first the tar.gz, and then tried just tar and then yaml.
But now when importing tar.gz I see that under the field box there is very small alert text in red:
Can not import archive due to missing module(s): eca_formMaybe I would have noticed that in the first tryout if it would be in place of the main error message which was

For the records, this is the default way how the form API from Drupal core handles form errors. And the error display is driven by the theme. So, ECA is just using those components and doesn't handle that error handling itself.
