This module has stagnated needs a quick sort out to get a 7.x-1.x and 2.0.x branch release with all of the issues in the queue dealt with. Most of them are ready to go, or very near it. I've reviewed and dealt with the queue as far as I can, so a review on the few that are NR would be very helpful!

7.x-1.x branch hasn't had commits to it in 7 years but there are a pile of issues that should be merged into a final release before D7 support is dropped in Jan '25.

For the 2.0.x branch, again there are a few rather crucial issues to merge in to get a Drupal 11 release out the door now.

For a future branch replacing the existing database storage with a ConfigEntity (or two) which would allow for config sync between dev/stg/live. This would also replace the engines with a generic file and meta type.

For Drupal 12, there are OO Hooks introduced in D11.1 to replace procedural hooks which will need to be implemented.

I'd like to offer my hand to get these releases out of the way and new branches started.
