Upgrading from version 2 to 3

Thanks for asking about this. Yes, for almost all sites, updating from Layout Builder Restrictions version 2 to version 3 should be as straightforward as simply updating the code. As indicated in the release notes of version 3.0.0 → , this version does not introduce any API changes or backward-compatibility-breaking changes. The only notable thing -- and the reason that we updated the version from 2 to 3, is that version 3 is no longer indicated as compatible with Drupal version 9.
