The module’s page suggests that the 7.x-2.x is almost finished and asks for testing it. When looking in the git history I can see that there hasn’t been a commit since 2017.
Look at the module page. Look at the git history.
Update the module’s page regarding the Drupal 7 versions. Remove the notes about the 7.x-2.x version or explicitly state that it has been abandoned.
