Bootstrap spacing classes cause columns to stack

Problem/Motivation

Adding certain Bootstrap classes (specifically horizontal padding or margin classes) to a column under the "Settings" tab causes the columns to stack vertically. The expected behavior is for these columns to remain side by side and adjust responsively. I'm encountering this issue while working with the Bootstrap Barrio theme, but it may also be present in other themes.

Steps to reproduce

1. In a layout that includes more than one column, go to the "settings" tab of any column.
2. Add a Bootstrap horizontal padding or margin class such as p-, m-, px-, mx-, etc., to one of the columns.
3. Click "Update".
