The generated images get updated for the wrong node translation.
The original nodes generated image gets replaced with the generated image from the translation, while the translated node gets the original generated image.
Have a translatable content type.
Add the image upload field for the generated images.
Add the PDF upload field having the PDF to Image widget.
Create content in the original language.
Add a translation for the node.
Update the fields with translated content.
Save the translation.
Have the generated images correspond to the correct node.

Since there is currently no language support. My workaround for this was to use multiple PDF upload fields and image fields for each language. Then created twig template(s) to display the respective fields based on current language.
This works for my client but it would be nice to have language support out of the box.
In the meantime, I hope this setup helps other users needing language support.
