Don't let perfection be the enemy of progress

I've been checking this periodically since the project was created, but there is still no code :(

I like to think I know a few things about Drupal Install Profiles... both the historical challenges of maintaining them in legacy Drupal and the options to maintain them in modern Drupal by leveraging devops solutions like Pantheon's Upstreams and Recipes.

I would love to kick the tires on whatever you are cooking up.
