Database creation error: PHP Exception TypeError: "Illegal offset type"

Problem/Motivation

Error at the first step: "add a connection configuration to a database with source data from drupal 7"

Steps to reproduce

Install and enable module.
Visit the link from the instructions: admin/migrate-wizard/list-databases/create-mw-database

The following error is generated:
Front-end: "The website encountered an unexpected error. Try again later."
Logged error: NOTICE: PHP message: Uncaught PHP Exception TypeError: "Illegal offset type" at /app/web/modules/contrib/migrate_wizard/src/Form/CreateMWDatabase.php line 86

Environment details: A stable local drupal instance running on Lando…
Lando: v3.21.0-beta.18
Drupal: 10.3.5
PHP: 8.2.24
Server: nginx/1.25.3
DB: 10.4.21-MariaDB
