Remove the DeprecationSuppressionTrait

Describe your bug or feature request.

The DeprecationSuppressionTrait doesn't seem to be necessary as it's only removing a deprecation that is no longer relevant...
It seems to be causing the tests to fail with D11 and the next minor core version... Let's remove it.
