Node "Author" token not recognized

The author of a node has the field name uid, not author.

It's good that it works, but I need to correct your last statement: it's not a token, it's a field name.

For nodes, the field name for the author is uid, but the token is [node:author]. It's important to be aware of that difference.

Hi Jurgen, thanks very much for clarifying that. I was certainly confused about that part. That also explains why evaluation a condition on [node:author] works in my model, but setting the field value didn't. The field "uid" isn't shown in the token browser, which threw me off track.
