Improve slideshow integration with core media library

Problem/Motivation

I would like to use the media library to reference existing galleries in different nodes. But currently it does not seem to be possible.

Steps to reproduce

Use vanilla drupal thunder distribution with thunder demo module enabled, under /admin/structure/paragraphs_type/gallery/form-display enabled the widget "Media library extra" and configured it the same way as done for image or video paragraph. On clicking the "select media" button the media library view appears but not the form to create a new gallery.

Proposed resolution

Improve the source plugin.
