Currency Symbol - Not properly rendered

Hi
There seem to be a regression in price currency display

In /admin/commerce/config/currencies/CAD?destination=/en/admin/commerce/config/currencies
Currency code is "CAD"
Symbol is "$"

/admin/commerce/config/product-variation-types/my-type/edit/display
When selecting NONE, nothing is displayed - GOOD
When selecting Currency code, CAD is displayed - GOOD
When selecting Currency Symbol, "$CAD" is displayed, although the value in the field is "$"

Seems like a bug. There does not seem to be an existing issue about this.
