Recommended approach for migrating to the AI module

Problem/Motivation

As an early adopter of AI Interpolator, I have several sites running modules from its ecosystem and I will need to phase out Interpolator in favor of Automator in the AI module suite. I'm using mostly field-level interpolation but also leverage ECA quite a bit to run Interpolator rules.

What would be the recommended approach? Is it safe to install automaton alongside interpolator and copy all the rules manually before uninstalling interpolator? Or is there a better/ faster way of doing it?
