Unable to select items in media browser in some screenreaders

It has been reported that selecting items in the "Library" tab of the media browser is impossible.

The current theory is that it's because the screenreader is generating virtual clicks, so while the UI works from the keyboard, it's not actually sending keyboard events. In this particular case, we aren't relying on a keyboard event, but a change event. However, possibly switching that to look for clicks could help?
