The module provides a json object with the style machine names as keys and the url to the derivative image as values. The several derivatives could have different dimensions, based on the effects used. When the consumer is some frontend app, it can be helpful to also provide the width and height for each style.
I propose the extension of the module, to also deliver width and height with each derivative image.
A concrete solution may conflict with a big change that was introduced to v3 → of the module.

I created another module that does this. It stores the metadata in content entities. I have also included a submodule that copies this module's logic:
