Extra options spacing issue / replacement

Problem/Motivation

With the new extra options, the options are not being separated correctly with spaces. In addition, if you try to add extra options that might be already used, it could cause the appender to fail.

Proposed resolution

Lets make sure we use a sequence for the extra options and implode / explode correctly. We should also remove any duplicate options and take priority to the extra options that were supplied.
