Consider implementing features from eck_site_settings into site_settings

Okay I think I got it all. The migration is a bigger task, so will leave that one. @DieterHolvoet suggested to look at https://git.drupalcode.org/project/eck_site_settings/-/blob/1.x/src/Modu... if someone does want to take it on. Given its just a handful of installs of that module, I don't think I'll tackle it myself.
