Generated link from media entity doesnt prepend the current language (ckeditor5)

Problem/motivation

When creating a link on the body field using a different language, searching for a media item shows the translated title but the generated link doesn't prepend the current language. I am getting /media/123 instead of /fr/media/123

Adding /fr/media/123 as URL reverts to /media/123

Steps to reproduce

1. Enable the "Linkit URL converter" filters in the text format and editors.
2. Create a media item and translate it to a different language. ex. FR
3. Create a node then translate to FR
4. Edit the node in FR then edit the link and prepend the current language /fr/media/xxx

The issue happens on Versions 6 and 7. I am using ckeditor5, Drupal 10.2.7
