Validation error for the phone number field

Hi everyone,
i have cck with phone number field and when i select germany and enter above 15 digits number it throws an error like 'This value is too long. It should have 15 characters or less.'
from where this validation error is coming and how to solve it ?

Hello:

Webform version 8.5-5.x is no longer supported. Please test on a supported release. For this to be a bug report, provide steps to reproduce. Also have a look at https://www.drupal.org/docs/contributed-modules/webform/webform-cookbook → .

This issue doesn't seem strictly related to 🐛 Minimum length message is imprecise Fixed but I will leave the relation for the moment.
