Clearly document the identity of terms being merged

Problem/Motivation

When selecting terms to merge it's not possible to distinguish between terms if they have the same name. Merging into the wrong term on a prod site can have some unfortunate consequences.

Steps to reproduce

-Create two or more terms with the same name
-Go to /admin/structure/taxonomy/manage/taxonomy_name/merge
-Observe that there is no way to distinguish between the two terms

Proposed resolution

A minimum solution would be to specify how the terms are sorted (f.ex. machine name/ascending or created_at/descending or WE)
A better solution might be to display the taxonomy terms as links instead of text (or maybe show the machine name and/or term ID in addition to the name)

My observations so far suggest that the sort order for similarly named terms are likely one of these

Term ID (asc)
created at (asc)
machine name (asc)
position on the taxonomy term page (desc)

Regarding your suggestion of showing the term ID in addition to the term name, it is WIP and currently being addressed in https://www.drupal.org/project/term_merge/issues/3311345#comment-14984195 ✨ Use checkbox and radio instead of Select, Provide better user experience Needs review .
