Media entitywith URL pattern is not tracked on Usage tab

I have a URL pattern set on media type document but when the document is linked using linkit module on a basic page gives zero results on Media Entity. If URL pattern is removed on Media type document then I see the results on the Usage tab from the media document entity.

Does this module work only if there is no URL pattern?

Any help/advise is appreciated.
