vardumper() function no longer renders anything on the DOM

Problem/Motivation

I've been using Vardumper on our Drupal site for years. We are currently on Drupal 10. I was using it to dump variable data onto the front end when suddenly it just stopped working. I never disabled it. I didn't make any changes that should affect it as far as I could tell. it just silently fails. No errors. No containing element. Nothing. At least if I had an error I would have something to chase.

I tried clearing Drupal cache multiple times. I tried removing the module completely and reinstalling. It just doesn't make any sense. I even went so far as rebooting my PC.

Use vardumper() in a twig template.

I'm totally at a loss as to why this happened. There didn't appear to be any sort of trigger. It was just working and then it wasnt.
