Now that we have turned on GitLabCI and it's running cspell automatically, we can address some spelling issues pointed out by the current core cspell configuration, as well as a few grammar issues not caught by cspell.

I'm opening the MR and using this issue to progressively add to that MR as they show up during iterative testing.
