Suggestions don't auto popup on pixel 8 pro

Problem/Motivation

Hey not sure if this is an issue or not wondering if you have tested with mobile devices?
I am using browser stack to test my sites search
I notice for most devices the search popups atomically however on the pixel 8 pro it does not?
On the pexel 8 pro you have to click space to get suggestions to show

Could this be an issue with the mobiles keyboard ?
Is there an fix to force the mobile bowser to show suggestions?

I am more looking for info than solution so might not provide too many details but can provide more if requested

Steps to reproduce

1. install suggestions on site
2. open site in browser stack as pexel 8 pro
3. search for term
4. click space to bring the suggestions up
