Manage Form Display Gear not Visible for fields

Problem/Motivation

The Manage form gear for fields when editing / adding fields to content types not visible due to the {box-sizing: borderbox} CSS rule on ::before and ::after pseudo elements.
This makes editing field configurations less intuitive.

I think the intention of this module was meant to injects its CSS into the admin theme but some CSS rules affect form elements aggressively and cannot be overriden traditionally by the sites default CSS front end theme.

Currently using Claro as the admin theme and the screenshots are attached below.
