Documentation about Trusted Host pattern

Problem/Motivation

Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I don’t see any documentation on setting the Trusted Host Pattern.

With a CloudFront or a Vanity CDN it will be necessary to set it otherwise CloudFront will throw an HTTP 400 Bad Request error. I also needed to update CORS configuration in Drupal to allow requests.

    1. That's a Drupal core setting, not a CDN module setting? https://www.drupal.org/node/2410395 β†’
    2. That's only relevant when serving the entire site from a CDN, the CDN module literally says on the project page:

This module provides easy Content Delivery Network integration for Drupal sites. It changes file URLs, so that files (CSS, JS, images, fonts, videos …) are downloaded from a CDN instead of your web server.

It does not put your entire website behind a CDN.

IOW: if you put your entire site behind a CDN …. you don't need this module πŸ˜…
