Enabling module crashed my site

Recently, I installed your module on my website which is running Drupal 10.2.6. However, when I tried to enable it and the associated sub-modules, it crashed my website. I can't provide you with any error messages because there were none. All I got was the white screen with the message that something unexpected had occurred.

I never did resolve the problem. After spending a fair amount of time trying to identify what went wrong, I gave up and just restored a backup I had created prior to installing your module.

My question is, do the sub-modules and the change label module need to be enabled in a particular order. Since I had tried to enable all the applicable modules at once, I was wondering if perhaps that is what caused the site to crash.

Any thoughts you might have would be most welcome.

Thank you.

Interesting, I don't seem to be able to recreate this

    1. Drupal 10.2.6
    2. Latest version of this module
    3. Related dependencies

      - Downloading drupal/change_labels (1.3.4)
      - Installing drupal/hook_event_dispatcher (4.0.1): Extracting archive
      - Installing drupal/field_event_dispatcher (4.0.1)
      - Installing drupal/core_event_dispatcher (4.0.1)
      - Installing drupal/change_labels (1.3.4): Extracting archive

The module enabled cleanly and I have no errors, were you seeing the white screen for all pages, or specific ones?

    Thanks for the reply.

On the Extend page I checked the applicable modules and clicked the Install button. Shortly after, the site crashed and I got the white screen. Attempts to go to any other page on the site resulted in the white screen.

When there is a white screen there is an error message associated. Can you try to configure your site with this debug info enabled so we can determine the problem? Please follow the instructions from the docs https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/development-tools/enable-verbose-err... β†’

I have since found another way to accomplish what I needed, so this issue is no longer a priority for me. I am also not able to test this on the site since the site is now a live site. I may try it again (with the debug info enabled) on a similarly configured site when I have some time.

I want to thank you both for attempting to assist me. For now, I would close this issue.
