Not saying it won't happen, but smart_date provides 5 widgets.
It might be easier to actually get this into smart_date itself. Or use some custom code if you need it for a project.See
hook_sam_allowed_widget_types_alter(https://git.drupalcode.org/project/sam/-/blob/1.0.x/sam.api.php?ref_type...) as a way to do that.
