Dropping Drupal 9 support, adding Drupal 11 support and requiring PHP 8.1 all in one release should probably be part of a larger version jump.

That is already in place on the 2.x branch, I just haven't made a release for that yet.

Drupal 9 and PHP 7 are EOL, people still on that software can remain on old versions. D11 added no BC concerns so did not require a major jump.

https://www.drupal.org/project/diff/releases/8.x-1.6 → is now the latest and last working release for D9 (this is 8.x-1.3 retagged)
