I'm assuming this image is what you're talking about?
When you assign a text color in a block it is ignored.
This bug report addresses an issue where certain classes retain a hard-coded color variable, which conflicts with background color selections. To resolve this, we propose removing the specific color variable within these classes. This change will make it easier to apply the correct color without using !important in css.
