Example screenshot does not show image in background

I hope this isn't too silly a question but I am interested in finding a way to assign a watermark-style image on the background of some pages and I think this might be a candidate but when I look at the final example image, that appears to me to be ABOVE the main page boy behind it?

Do you have/would it be worth posting up some real live site examples of the module in use?
