Cannot bulk edit nodes with a required date range field

Problem/Motivation

Cannot bulk edit nodes with a required date range field. The bulk operations action always stops with this error: "1 error has been found: End date".

Steps to reproduce

Add a required date range field to a node.
Create some test content.
Create a view w/ bulk operations.
Pull up the view and try to bulk edit with "modify field values",
Try to change the Title field.
Get stopped w/ the error listed above
