Content Translation Test Coverage in Patternkit Usage Report

Problem/Motivation

This test is to verify the language translation content in patternkit usage reporting.

Steps to reproduce

  • Install the following modules:
    • patternkit
    • patternkit_example
    • patternkit_usage_tracking
    • layout_builder
    • language
    • content_translation
    • Configure Patternkit with Layout Builder enabled on a content type with per-node layout overrides
    • Configure a second language on the site
    • Enable translation on the configured content type with translation for the layout field
    • Create several test pages and Patternkit blocks placed on them
    • Review discovered patterns on the pattern usage report at /admin/reports/pattern-usage
    • Clicking on any of the node in the usage report should redirect to the correct node
    • Expect to see all pattern usages across all translations in the usage report

    Proposed resolution

    Implemented browser tests to cover this functionality within the PatternKit module.

    Remaining tasks

    • Identify crucial test scenarios that are currently not covered for this functionality
    • Develop additional tests for the identified scenarios.
