No longer a way to post a link as-is if there is 1 pattern match

Problem/motivation

This recent update ✨ Do not require selection of autocomplete if only one match (pressing 'Submit' is sufficient) RTBC caused a breaking change on out client's site. They also have https://www.drupal.org/project/anchor_link → installed.

Steps to reproduce

  1. 1. Set up Linkit & Anchor Links. Make the anchor link pattern is turned on for the active linkit profile.
  2. 2. Paste in a complete URL when adding a link, so there are no suggestions other than an anchor link.
  3. 3. Observe that there is now no way to ignore that anchor suggestion and paste in the link as-is. The link will always be prefixed with #

Proposed resolution

Rolling back the update? Perhaps having an (x) option to cancel out suggestions when they aren't needed? Switch the update to use a hotkey or something instead of being automatic?

This module uses Gitlab CI for automated testing of proposed code changes. To contribute code changes, create a merge request. Patch files will not trigger automated testing and are not sufficient for review.
