Hi yurg,
This module redirects a Drupal 403 page TO a user login page. If a user desires that functionality, this module provides it.
Why this module if it is possible to redirect via /admin/config/system/site-information > "Error page" > Default 403 (access denied) page?
Well, frankly, had to install this module as a fast fix because the built-in 403 redirect doesn't seem to be working after 10.0.x > 10.2.6 upgrade. So I wonder, if this module exists because the default 403 has been instantly broken? Just asking..
