Allow the user's browser to ask for permission to find locations nearest them?

I have a View with Format type "Geofield Google Map". I then use an exposed geofield to allow the user to type a zip code etc. However, I want to offer the user the option to allow their browser to as for permission to geolocate their position, and then show them the locations nearest them on the Views map. Is this possible? If so, what is the recipe for how to make it work this way?
