It is great to see Drupal Forge including Backdrop CMS as part of the drupal family since it is a fork of Drupal 7 that has grown over the 10 years since its inception including the option for Drupal 7 sites to update to Backdrop CMS. Also Backdrop CMS includes features found in modern Drupal versions, including CKEditor 5, configuration management in json files or the database and many more features.
The Drupal Forge template is a rapid way to test or build sites with Backdrop CMS, https://www.drupalforge.org/template/backdrop-cms, and other versions of Drupal.
