Varbase temporary files are not removed by cron

Created on 7 May 2024, 7 months ago

Problem/Motivation

When I upload media files to Varbase Blog, the temporary files added to files list as permanent and doesn't deleted by cron.

Steps to reproduce

  • Install Varbase 10rc2 with blog
  • Create several blog posts with media files
  • Open Files list at /admin/content/files

You will see that every file have two records - as a used file and as a non-used permanent file, so any of these records are not deleted by cron.

Proposed resolution

Mark non-used files as Temporary, or remove these records immediately after file uploading.
