Problem/Motivation

While working on a project that utilizes this module for integrating Frontify media into the site, we encountered an intermittent issue related to the usage of download URLs for media. Periodically, when a media item is selected and its download URL is utilized in the front end, an error message appears indicating "access denied" and "request has expired". To address this issue, the client reached out to the Frontify team for assistance. Their recommendation was to utilize a specific key that would generate a download URL without an expiration.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Select a file type asset from the Frontify Finder.
  2. Use its download URL in the front end.

According to the Frontify documentation, the link is expected to expire after one day, potentially resulting in an error.

Proposed resolution

As advised by the Frontify team and also outlined in the official documentation, the solution involves utilizing the "permanentDownloadUrls" key for the Frontify Finder. This key is essential for resolving the download URL expiration issue. For further details, please refer to the Frontify documentation here.
