Let's update the rest of the README at the same time.

Anonymous Redirect is a drupal 8 implementation of the D7 anonymous_redirect
module with a few improvements.

This is not really helpful and no longer accurate.

No special install steps are necessary to use this module,
see https://www.drupal.org/documentation/install/modules-themes/modules-8
for further information.

Link should be updated to https://www.drupal.org/docs/extending-drupal/installing-modules →

We can probably just drop the maintainers section, this can be found on the project page.

Might as well convert it to markdown at the same time.
