Commerce invoice not sent when using Mollie payment

I'm using the Commerce Invoice module ( https://www.drupal.org/project/commerce_invoice → ) to generate and auto e-mail an invoice when an order is placed. This is working fine when using the default payment gateway. But when I use Mollie the invoice is not sent by e-mail anymore.

I'm not sure if this is a bug in Commerce Invoice or Commerce Mollie. I opened an issue for Commerce Invoice two weeks ago but unfortunately no one has responded. I was hoping maybe someone here could help me out.
