Hello, I've installed the Imagefield Slideshow module via Composer, and enabled it as per normal. So that's the first step as given on your module's project page.
And it seems like the next step would be to install the jQuery Cycle plugin this module apparently relies on. However, I'm not seeing anything about this in the setup instructions. So I'm wondering if it's true, since nothing is mentioned about this.
Assuming it is, then Cycle2 appears to be the most recent version (https://jquery.malsup.com/cycle2/download/). But this is quite old now - last updated on GitHub about 10 years ago. So that makes me wonder if there is something newer that we should be using?
In summary, there is a lot of ambiguity about which jQuery plugin, if any, is needed to use this module. And once this is known, it would really be appreciated if there were also some (simple) instructions about how to install this so your module can be used.

Well, it is confusing since I've read on The Drop Times that this module requires the jQuery Cycle plugin...
However, after enabling and configuring the module, and adding a few images, I see that the slideshow cycling of images is working.
I'm not sure *how* it's working, but I will close this issue.
