Field filter type selection

Problem/Motivation

The field type "select" (dropdown list, and "checkboxes" in the block settings) is not always appropriate. It would be great to have the option to select autocomplete. For example, in cases where there are more than 100 or even 1000 taxonomy terms for filtering. And in the block settings, autocomplete-tags is always the best choice, as loading all terms at once will significantly slow down the site.
