Problem with registration_inline_entity_form: Changes Not Applied and Duplicate Revisions Created

Problem/Motivation

When using the submodule registration_inline_entity_form to inline edit registration settings, changes are not being saved correctly. Although the node can be saved, the modifications to the registration settings don't apply. Additionally, when checking the node's revision history, it appears that two revisions are marked as active, indicating a potential issue with the revision creation or saving process within this submodule context.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install and enable the registration module along with the registration_inline_entity_form submodule.
  2. Navigate to a node with registration settings enabled and attempt to modify these settings using the inline entity form functionality.
  3. Save the node.
  4. Check the node's revision history to observe the issue with duplicate active revisions and verify that the changes to registration settings were not applied.

    Thanks for the post @cornelvonwyl. This is passing PHPUnit tests and works correctly in my local test site. Does your site have multiple languages installed by chance. It could be something like that, or perhaps some other contrib or custom module that is interfering. Let me know and I can dig into this further.
