I would like to be able to send newsletter issues to multiple subscribers lists, which is something a lot of people would expect from a newsletter module.
After changing in node.simplenews_issue.simplenews_issue the 'Allowed number of values' field settings (/admin/structure/types/manage/simplenews_issue/fields/node.simplenews_issue.simplenews_issue) to 'Unlimited' I created a new simplenews_issue node for testing.
As soon as I selected one or two available lists in the node add form the following error occurs:

The developer console shows:
Uncaught
Drupal.AjaxError
If this is a bug, fix the bug. If it is not possible, this is a feature request.
