Properly initialize size and validate the cliendwidth

Problem/Motivation

It's awesome to see this module being maintained, thanks to all the contributors for updating and using the new LOBsTerr/drupal-superfish fork. I just opened a new issue upstream, the idea of this one is to track that issue, if you guys don't see a reason to have an issue here and upstream, we can close this one.
