MidCamp 2024: Replace Youtube Subtitles with cleaned up captions

Captions (called “Subtitles” in YouTube) need to be replaced with the captions provided by our vendor, AI Media. This year, we did not use human captioners to clean up the video captions and create a transcript. Instead, we used an AI tool called Lexi. We were also able to create a glossary of terms to improve the captions. Using this tool greatly reduced the cost to generate the captions and transcripts for each session.

    All subtitles / captions in YouTube have been updated with the files provided by AI Media. The SRT files were downloaded from the account created at AI Media. The following videos have been updated with the transcripts:
